Terms of Service
The contract governing access to and use of TrapReady.
1. Purpose and scope
TrapReady helps restaurants organize, verify, retain, and provide grease-trap compliance records. TrapReady is a record-management and workflow service; it does not provide legal advice, regulatory representation, or a guarantee of compliance. Local FOG rules, inspection practices, retention periods, and submission duties vary.
2. Account authority
The person creating or administering an account represents that they are authorized to act for the restaurant, food-service operator, service company, or other organization identified in the account.
3. Customer records and ownership
As between TrapReady and the customer, the customer retains ownership of service records, manifests, photographs, submissions, and other customer content. Customers may export their account data. A service-company sponsor does not acquire ownership of restaurant records.
4. Customer responsibilities
Customers are responsible for entering accurate information, reviewing provider submissions, determining applicable local requirements, maintaining lawful instructions to service providers, and deciding what to submit to authorities.
5. Availability and changes
TrapReady may update the service, correct defects, impose reasonable security controls, and suspend access when necessary to protect customers or the platform. Material legal changes will require renewed acceptance where configured.
6. Fees, taxes, cancellation, and refunds
Fees are shown before purchase or stated in a written pilot or partner order. Taxes may be calculated separately. Subscription cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period unless the order states otherwise. Refund requests are reviewed under the published Billing, Cancellation, and Refund Policy.
7. Termination and portability
Customers may cancel and export records before termination. During the configured deletion grace period, an authorized owner may cancel a deletion request. After deletion is completed, customer content may no longer be recoverable except in backups retained temporarily for security and disaster recovery.
8. Disclaimers and limitation
The service is provided subject to applicable law and the written commercial agreement. TrapReady does not warrant that use of the service will satisfy every municipality, regulator, inspector, or contractual requirement.
