Privacy Notice
How TrapReady processes account, business, usage, and support information.
1. Information processed
TrapReady processes account identity and contact data, restaurant and equipment details, service records, uploaded documents and photographs, audit activity, billing information supplied to the payment provider, support correspondence, and limited security telemetry such as hashed IP addresses.
2. Purposes
Information is used to operate accounts, provide reminders and reports, secure the platform, process billing, provide customer support, maintain audit trails, comply with legal obligations, and improve reliability.
3. Roles
For restaurant records, the restaurant or food-service operator generally determines why the information is stored and shared. TrapReady acts as a service provider or processor for that customer. Service-company partners receive only the data and aggregate summaries authorized by the restaurant.
4. Sharing
Information may be disclosed to authorized users, invited service providers, inspectors through customer-created links, contracted subprocessors, professional advisers, and authorities when legally required. TrapReady does not sell customer records.
5. Retention and deletion
Account data is retained while the account is active and according to configured record-retention settings, contractual requirements, security needs, and legal obligations. Authorized account owners may request export and deletion through the data-controls page.
6. Security and contact
Security controls include tenant isolation, access controls, audit events, protected uploads, transport security in production, and backup procedures. Privacy inquiries should be sent to the configured privacy contact.
