Data Processing Agreement
Processor terms for customer personal data handled through TrapReady.
1. Parties and instructions
The customer is the controller or business and TrapReady is the processor or service provider for customer personal data, except where TrapReady processes data for its own security, billing, or legal purposes. TrapReady processes customer personal data only on documented instructions in the agreement and product configuration.
2. Confidentiality and security
TrapReady limits personnel access, requires confidentiality, maintains technical and organizational safeguards, and reviews access according to role.
3. Subprocessors
TrapReady may use the subprocessors listed in the Subprocessor List. TrapReady remains responsible for imposing appropriate data-protection obligations on subprocessors.
4. Assistance
Taking into account the nature of processing, TrapReady will reasonably assist with data-subject requests, security inquiries, deletion, export, and legally required impact assessments.
5. Security incidents
TrapReady will investigate confirmed security incidents and notify affected customers without undue delay when notification is required by contract or applicable law. Notifications will include available information about scope, impact, mitigation, and recommended customer actions.
6. Return and deletion
At termination, the customer may export data. TrapReady will delete customer data according to the Record-Deletion Policy, subject to legal holds, fraud prevention, billing records, and temporary backup retention.
7. International transfers
Any international transfer mechanisms, regional hosting commitments, or supplemental clauses must be stated in the applicable order form or addendum before processing begins.
